How exactly does it work?
The cloths, when used dry, create an electrostatic charge that attracts and holds dust particles. This means no more polishing sprays and wax being used in your home! Unlike cotton cloths that just push dirt, dust, and grime around, Norwex microfiber cloths when used wet or dry lift everything, even the smallest particles, from that surface into the cloth. Then the active silver ions (AG+) take over. According to ISO testing (International Standards Organization), silver inactivate the bacteria cells. This is done by essentially suffocating the cells and not allowing them to reproduce. In a normal moist cotton cloth, over a 24 hour period, one bacteria cell will multiply into 8 million of that same bacteria. Yuck! Not with Norwex Antibac Microfiber. How do you CARE for your products?
It is important to properly take care of your cloths to help them last longer and be as effective as possible. You can wash them with your normal laundry but make sure your soap DOES NOT contain Bleach or Fabric Softener. Also Do NOT dry them with dryer sheets. You can also boil the cloths for 10 min. for deep clean. For stinky rags soak over night with laundry soap or liquid dish soap. Then rinse out and hang dry.
· Do wash when they start to smell or look dirty.
· Do wash with regular laundry with hot (preferred) or warm water (see label for maximum temperature).
· Do dry with regular laundry (see label for maximum temperature).
· Do rinse after each use with warm water.
· Do clean between washings with dish soap under warm running water (rinse well).
· Do rub cloth together to help clean spots.
· Do boil cloths for 10 minutes to deep clean or to remove stains or odors (colors may run).
· Do not wash or use with bleach.
· Do not wash with fabric softener or dryer sheets.
· Do not wash in laundry with lots of lint (like towels)
· Do not use with household cleaners or soap (prevents antibacterial silver from working).

Here is a video link of some skeptical chemist friends of mine who performed their own experiment with the Enviro Cloth. Their results are pretty impressive!
The Great Norwex Experiment by Keri Paul
I wanted to do a Great Norwex Experiment. What happens if you clean up raw chicken with a regular micro fiber cloth with just water? You can clean any surface (except items with anti-glare coating on it) with a Norwex Enviro Cloth using just water. The silver based agent embedded in every fiber of this cloth inactivates bacteria in the cloth...but does it really work? Well, we can happily and most definitely say YES IT DOES!!! Cleaning with a Norwex Enviro Cloth with just water is far more superior than cleaning with a regular micro fiber cloth. The results are in the pictures below. Purple means that the test still detects protein and if it is green then it is clean (green clean :). Bacteria feeds and grow off of the protein left on surfaces, so if it is on a surface the bacteria will grow and as you wipe your counters with a regular cloth it will spread that bacteria around. The Norwex Enviro Cloth keeps the matter in the cloth, inactivates the bacteria with the silver based agent that is in every fiber of the cloth and your surface is left clean so when you wipe it again there is nothing left on the surface or the cloth to spread around. Too Cool!! Happy Cleaning!!
